Uvitron SkyRay UV LED Flood Curing System Overview
The Uvitron SkyRay is a compact, programmable 800-watt LED flood curing system with all components integrated into a small lamp head. It can be mounted to the optional Rayven benchtop curing chamber or anywhere on a factory floor without the need for a remote controller, power supply box, or remote cooler. Simply mount the head, connect the AC power cord, and begin timed exposure curing.
Long-life solid-state LEDs illuminate a 5" x 5” curing area with cool, evenly distributed high-intensity light. The system includes an integrated exposure timer and adjustable output intensity, with a front panel LCD display and sealed membrane keypad for easy programming and monitoring. Password protection for system dose and setup parameters prevents unauthorized changes to sensitive processes and control settings. The unit features a variable-speed cooling fan and flush-mounted carrying handles, with a slim design allowing side-by-side mounting of multiple units for larger curing areas.

Features and Benefits
- System Timers: Duration of curing is controlled by a 1 - 9,999 second timer that turns off the LEDs and beeps after exposure is complete. The timer can alternatively be switched to 1 - 9,999 hours for use in artificial aging or other long exposure applications.
- Lamp Intensity Control: The system has a user-adjustable intensity level, allowing the flexibility to choose the appropriate curing intensity for sensitive materials. All settings can be password protected.
- Remote Control via PC Serial Port: The SkyRay can be controlled remotely via an RS232/RS485 serial port, with a Windows™ compatible graphical interface program enabling full system control and RS485 allowing for networking multiple units.
- External Logic Signal Interface: Remote control is possible using digital logic signals accessible via a 15-pin D-sub connector on the unit's rear panel, enabling high-speed control for applications requiring direct interface with machine controllers or PLCs.
- Optional LED Spectrums: Available with 365nm, 385nm, 395nm, and 405nm wavelengths to ensure compatibility with many types of adhesives and coatings from all manufacturers.
