Uvitron SkyBeam UV LED Spot Curing System Overview
The Uvitron SkyBeam is a high-intensity, cool-operation LED spotlight curing system ideal for benchtop and automated production lines. It includes a durable light guide and supports up to four independently operating light guides with various lens types. Weighing just 3.25 lbs., the unit features user-friendly exposure time controls, foot pedal activation, and a built-in power supply, eliminating the need for an external power adapter.
Note: The SkyBeam system includes a single light guide with 2 lenses (12mm and 6mm), exposure control foot pedal, UV/IR protective OTG glasses (5.0 shade with case), AC power cord, and manual.
Additional LED Light Guides and Light Guide Lenses are available.
Features and Benefits
- Four Irradiation Channels: Each of the 4 independent channels features a 0-999.9 second exposure timer and 10-100% power adjustment range, with adjustable UV light spot sizes via replaceable optical lenses. The service life of each channel is recorded independently.
- Built-in Power Supply: The compact design and built-in power supply minimize space usage and eliminate the need for an external power adapter.
- External Control Interface: Remotely monitor and control the system using isolated logic signals at the rear panel terminals. Digital logic functions enable high-speed control for direct interfacing with machine controllers or PLCs, including LED on/off and a safety interlock for operator protection.
- Cool Operation: Offers both convection and fan cooling UV LED light guides, with fan cooling recommended for continuous operation. A built-in temperature sensor prevents overheating.
- Security Key Switch: A security key switch prevents unauthorized changes to running parameters.
- Long-Life Flexible Light Guides: UV LED light guides feature a 2-meter flexible robot cable tested to over 10 million bending cycles, available in 365, 385, 395, and 405nm wavelengths.
